The Ballet Folklóriko Aztlán's mission is to create, present, conserve and expand the great repertoire of Mexican folk dance, through performances exciting and educational programming of the highest quality, presented in widest possible audience.

Since its creation, it registered as a non-profit organization in March 2002.

The Aztlán Folkloric Ballet has enjoyed huge success, performing in hundreds of shows across North America, Italy, Brasil, Mexico City, Spain and Poland before thousands of people and accumulating several prizes prestigious, including an Othli Award (The most prestigious award given by the government of Mexico), the federal government of Mexico and various recognitions and awards from the cities of Ottawa, Montreal Gatineau, Bellville Canada, Rio de Janeiro Brasil, Legnica Poland, Le Federal Government of Canada, of the city of Rome in Italy, the office of the mayor of Tlalpan in Mexico City, Te Canadian prime Minister Justin Trudeau, among others.

We have participated in international festivals in Europe, North & South America, Poland,Spain, and Mexico. 

We are members of CIOFF. 

Our shows are entirely with live music, we have our own Mariachi, (EL MARIACHI AZTLAN), and the shows we present are specially made to preserve our Mexican culture, but without leaving aside the entertainment part, so the public could always enjoy a great performance.

The Ballet Aztlán also organizes, The MexiFest, and the Day of the Dead festival since the past 15 years.
