The “Buziaki” Dance Group
The “Buziaki” Dance Group is localized in the Youth Centre for Culture in Gorzów Wlkp., where its dance classes take place. The Group was established in 1979 by Izabella Szafrańska.
The Group’s current choreographers and dance instructors are Paulina Przybysz, Karolina Wojtasik-Kocoń and Natalia Saska. Currently the Group consists of over 220 individuals, among whom are primary and high school students, as well as preschool children – the latter only preparing for their first dance performances.
Our young dancers display their skills at numerous national and international talent festivals, both in Poland and abroad. They have received multiple awards and honors over the years.
"Buziaki" have performed at concerts in Germany, Russia, Ukraine, Hungary, Denmark, Sweden, The Netherlands, France, Yugoslavia, Belgium, Turkey, Estonia, Croatia, Italy, Spain, the USA, and else where
The Group co-organizes the ”Folk Przystań” International Festival in Gorzów Wlkp., and since 2020 the “Buziaki” association has been the organizer of the Izabella Szafrańska Modern Dance Confrontations in Gorzów Wlkp.
